(Acer Predator XB271HK) So I had this monitor for awhile and I've been having so much issues with mouse lag or input lag if thats what its called. I've tried many thing and some that work with some games like putting it on border less mode but sometime is does not work. I play many games like CSGO, BF1, OSU, which is all badly affected because of the mouse lag. They are simply unplayable because of it.. Please I need help getting this fixed...?

Im using a Asus strix 980 TI and im usually playing at 60fps because of optimization, (mix of settings)

Also ty for the reponse I didnt realize some1 posted back

I have 3 mouses ive tried this with, My old razer taipan, a death adder, and my current razer mamba, I know its not a mouse issue because I use dual monitor and when i play on my asus 1080p monitor it has no input lag automatically, its only on my 4k, and like i said somegames it doesnt effect it when i go borderless and sometimes it doesnt work also

That's weird. I have a Acer B326HK at the office that I'm driving with the 970 that was in the home PC and I don't see any lag problem but I rarely play FPS, only games like Neverwinter, Armored Warfare, World of Warships. Did you try dropping to a lower res and see if the lag persist?

I am considering buying this monitor as I have a 1080gtx and figure hey why not get 4k, but I've so many reviews about issues mouse lag (or input lag I guess would be the proper term) were you able to resolve the issue? I am asking because apparently 4k monitors no matter what have mouse lag issues making it nearly impossible to play FPS games, given thats the case I would have to settle for a 2560x1440. Let me know please so I don't spend $900 on a 4k with g sync and be disappointed. I did own the Samsung 28UHDD590 (Black Friday specials this was only $249) and the input lag was so bad I had to return it to the store. I was guessing that G-sync would fix that issue but after reading your post I have some serious concerns

Thank you,

Abe

Yeah dont buy this monitor, as I dont recommend it. I actually ended up putting it up for sale on ebay... now because I own a Ps4 Pro and I cant play on it because there is no HDMI 2.0 port. IMO there is alot wrong on this monitor for its price and I regret spending for it.. I thought gsync to be more beneficial, but in reality I dont see the need for it and the big ass price tag ontop of it

Such a bummer to hear I've read 1440 is the sweet spot for games right now but it sucks to have to buy a 2k and eventually once input lag is fixed on 4k, that I have to buy another monitor down the road. In a course of 16 years I have had 2 monitors. So obviously I expect to get my moneys worth out of them. Guess it'll be another couple years. Thanks for the advice.

Bro thats exactly how I feel atm... I was excited to own this 4k monitor but it has only let me down.. and I guess ill invest in a 1440p monitor aswell :/
