Good day.

My monitor shows "No Signal" on some games.

The problem started after I changed the monitor, my previous monitor was AOC E1670Sw 15.6"(portable USB powered), and then my friend gave me his Acer V226HQL 21.5" which is in very good condition as he didn't have any problem with it. I also use a VGA to DVI active adapter.

The "No Signal" only shows in PES 2019 and NBA 2K21. I can hear the sound of game, I need to restart my PC to use it again. I am not experiencing it when i'm playing Valorant, L.A Noire, RDR2, and GTA V. My graphics settings are mixed of medium to high and VSync is off.

My poor build(lol) is:
-Processor: AMD FX-8300(stock, not OCed)
-Mobo: Gigabyte GA-990FX Gaming G1
-GPU: Palit GTX 1650 Super StormX OC 4GB
-RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 12GB 1866hz
-Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Turbo LED
-PSU: Seasonic S12III 550w Bronze 80+
-Case: Fantech Aero CG80 Black
-SSD: Kingston A400 128GB SATA SSD
-HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB
-Case Fans: 4x IDCooling PL-12025 Red 120mm, 2x IDCooling NO-12015 Slim 120mm
-Monitor: Acer V226HQL 21.5"
-OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit

Any help will be much appreciated. Sorry for my english. Thank you!!

Update:
Monitor is okay now, I bought a DVI to DVI Cable and replaced the VGA to DVI Active Adapter. No more black screen on NBA 2K21 and PES 2019.

Problem solved.

possibly the game is locked into the 1366x768 resolution of the old pane and the new one (which is 1080) does not support it?

I could not find a 'supported resolutions' page for the Acer but I did see that it has a VGA port so you can use a VGA cable and see if that resolves the issue.

I changed the resolutions on all of my games according to the max resolution of the Acer monitor. Even on windowed mode, NBA 2K21 and PES 2019 are still having a black screen. The GTX 1650 Super doesn't have a VGA port(only DVI, HDMI and DP), that is why I am using a VGA to DVI Active Adapter.

I think the problem is on the VGA to DVI Active Adapter, because it is too hot when I am touching it. I'll buy a DVI cable next week and I will post an update.
