Monitor not being detected.

I have recently bought a Gtx 630 from Zotac. It has an HDMI, VGA, and DVI-D (24+1). I bought an old Dell Moniter and an VGA to DVI-D adapter. It fits in the GTX 630 but it won't get recognized. I will try and find more details if it is needed

Theres no such thing as a passive dvi-d to vga adapter so if your adapter wasnt expensive then what you bought was a dvi-a to vga adapter which are very common.

Dvi-d is digital only and vga is analog only as is dvi-a.
