Monitor not displaying an image.

So the title says it, heres the story:
On my other GPU (which i only upgraded like last week) i had a nice 2 monitor setup. But now when i use it on my new GPU, i hear the windows sorta 'ding' sound so i know its connected, but there is absolutely no video output! The only reason i can think of is that my old GPU had a VGA port aswell, which connected directly to my 2nd monitor, but now i have to use a DVI>VGA converter cable. I know the cable isn't broken because ive tried using it on my 'working' montior, and it displays video it just doesnt on my other one though.
Please help, its very frustrating 🙁

The monitor that is not working may require analog output from the DVI cable, where the one that does, may work properly due to it accepting digital or analog signals. Is VGA the only input on the "non-working" monitor?
