Recently on one of my other rigs I put in a new video card and psu ( both of which I believe are compatible with the mobo ) And after plugging the parts in and turning it back on, my monitor no longer has a display. When I first powered up there were no different starting sound, no smell of smoke, and when I look inside again there does not appear to be anything out of the ordinary for the mobo ( scorched nodes, broken parts ect ect...). And the computer seems to start up just fine, but it seems that the display is wonky. I've also cleaned out the parts inside the case, just incase, and even reconnected everything.I've even tried to use a different monitor and using the mobos monitor connector ( instead of the vgas) , but to no avail. I am really at a loss with this one.
Any suggestions?
A link to the Mobo is here--- http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc [...] =c00906137
It's a HP MCP61PM-HM (Nettle)
The psu is a LSP Ultra 650W atx psu
The vga is an EVGA nVidia geForce gt 220 ( even though it has the same problem without this video card in it. )
