Hey guys, i recently got roller coaster tycoon off steam and had issues with running it which on googling i found was caused by having dsr enabled on my nvidia contol panel.

I disabled it and proceeded to play it etc etc and then shut down the computer before going away for a week. I returned yesterday to find that my monitor isnt wanting to display anything except for a brief flash either when i plug in the monitor while its running or in the initial start up.

The monitor is a samsung s24b350 which is displaying my xbox still.

My pc specs are asrock z68 pro3 gen3 mobo, intel i7 3770, palit gtx 570, and 16gb ram, running on windows 7 64 bit. The pc is a home build about 3 years old.

Cheers guys

Try this:

1. Launch using SAFE MODE

2. Reinstall latest NVidia drivers but choose the "Custom"-> "Clean" install

Other:
I don't recommend using DSR in general anyway with a GTX570. Even if you do, make sure it's not globally activated, should be per-game basis, and monitor your frame rate with FRAPS to make sure you don't plummet.

Up to 2560x1440 for non-demanding games (and appropriate smoothness) might be okay.
