Monitor not working when connected to motherboard.

I recently completed my first build and when I booted it up the monitor it was blank. This was when I had my DVI plugged into the motherboard. I got my HDMI cable and connected to the Graphics card and it worked fine. I tried putting the HDMI on the motherboard still no picture same with the VGA to the motherboard. What does this mean is the motherboard bad?

u have Graphic card connected to ur Motherboard? still

When u install Graphic card.....it will automatically disable On-board (i.e) Motherboard Graphics

Plug the display port in to the Graphic card

We were going to do that but non of the usb ports or anything will work.

We just figured out that the PS2 keyboard is working. The usbs still do not work though.
