Monitor or SLI

Hi guys, so i'm building my first Gaming PC this coming month and i'd like to get your opinion about something.

6700k
Corsair H100i GTX
Viii Hero Alpha
750w Gold EVGA

And now the question...
Should i
- SLI GTX 1080s and go with 27'' Asus ROG 1440p ips (PG279Q) or
- Single GTX 1080 with Curved 34'' Asus ROG (PG348Q)???

Sli gtx 1080 is massive overkill for 1440p.
Get better screen and add another one down the track.

Definitely go for the Ultrawide. It delivers a much more pleasurable experience, and as a personal owner of an Acer X34, the overall feel is awesome. SLI is completely unnecessary at this resolution.

I'd trade a few extra frames for ultrawide format and more real-estate. Plain and simple, imo. SLI doesn't really make sense for this scenario, especially considering we might see the GTX 1080 Ti later on.
