Putting together a new system.

ECS K7S5A
AMD1.4GHz
256MB DDR
other stuff!

Here is the dilema. Do I get a monitor with a .27mm dot pitch and a GeForce 2MX 400 32MB or ATI Raedon 32MB DDR OR a monitor with .26mm dot pitch and a TNT2 32MB M64 vid card? Both moniotrs from the same manufacturer, both 17". Resolution likely to be 1024x768 16bit color.

Diablo 2 gaming wise, Adobe Photoshop 6 but mostly surfing and office apps.

Get the ATI Raedon 32MB DDR and the .27mm dot pitch as ATI is better at 2D than Geforce 2 MX.

If it works for you then don't fix it.

I'd go with .26 dot pitch because since you aren't doing a lot of gaming, you don't need the 3D power of the Radeon and with .26 dot pitch, text will be less blurry and easier on the eyes.
