Question Monitor refresh rate/display issue with Sceptre C275B-144RR ?

Very confused by this issue so figured I'd actually ask a question on here and maybe someone will know what went wrong.

I bought two Sceptre 27in curved monitors back in May 2020 and for the most part they have been great. One of them had an issue a couple months later and it was replaced but now it's been a while and I honestly don't remember if the warranty is still valid but if I can avoid needing to do that then I would be happy.

Anyway onto the issue. I hopped on to grab some in game rewards earlier today and turned my computer back off and everything was fine when I left. I came back to my room maybe 8 hours later and turned my computer on to find one of my screens with the image on the display all jagged back and forth, as if the pixels were all shifted different directions. I tried resetting the monitor, checked the cords for any damage, and nothing was different. For some reason I changed my refresh rate to 50hz and the image cleared up but still had some black streaks vertically in the middle so went to 120hz and it went back to being perfectly fine. Now yes, I could use the 120hz and call it a day but I'd prefer to not play on 120hz for a few weeks and turn my computer on a different day to see the same issue. So I'm wondering is this a hardware issue or a software issue and is there anything I can do besides send an email to Sceptre?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

I'd try and use DDU to uninstall your GPU drivers, then manually reinstall your GPU driver with the latest sourced from GPU maker's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

On a second note, can you parse the full system's specs to your build?
