Okay so i bought my new rig just before christmas and it all seemed to be going fine untill my pc started to make a weird sort of clicking noise?

Yeah had me confused but it seemed to be coming from the psu, dont know if that is normal but yeah. Soon after my monitors (two) would occasionaly turn off as if there was no output to be shown.

To resolve this, i had to restart. No other way i tried fixed it but restarting.

I tried uninstalling all gpu drivers, installed the latest but i hear it is a problem with th R9 290, but it might not be that.

So, this is where i come here. I would like to know what you think the cause of these problems are: The weird clickint/ticking that sometimes happens (not very often) and the black screening along with the occasional green screen of the main monitor, with the other one going black.

Thank you in advance and my specs are as follows:

GPU: Poworcolor R9 290 PSC+ (4gb)
CPU: Amd Fx 8350 (Hyper 212 Evo Cooler)
RAM: Avexir Core Blue Series [8GB (2x4gb)]
MOBO: Gigabyte 970A-UD3P AMD 970
PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX 750W Modular
CASE: BitFenix Shadow

Not sure about the clicking noise, but the monitor issues sounds like a faulty cable.

EDIT: Check to make sure no cables are touching the fans, that may be the cause of the ticking noise.

I checked around the case and moved any wires that might come into contact with a fan but i think i found the source of the noise anyway.

But as for the black screen, that happened near enough 10 minutes after i booted up:/

Alright. Download a registry cleaner (like the one here: http://download.cnet.com/wise-registry-cleaner/3000-2086_4-10605508.html), then run the utility. I did some research and the error is due to a fault in the Windows registry. This error can be fixed manually or automatically, so use with the utility above first. Hope that helps!

EDIT: Sorry for the late reply (people have to sleep.) :)

Dude no problem, your replies are fast enough for me.

Thank you for the help my friend! I shall try it out now.

I'll reply with the result, if any ;D

EDIT: Yeah it found 400+ problems so i cleaned that. Hopefully all should be good now:) Thanks again

EDIT #2: Seemed to be going well, untill it just went off again:/

I'd like to bump this, I tried everything that i can think of;

Uninstalled all drivers, changed monitor connection, reisntalled drivers and opened it up to see if there was any physical problems yet the problem still occurs sometimes.

Any help?
