I have an older 10-year system with a very first-gen i7 processor and ASUS P6X58D-E X58. It's running fine for my needs. It has the original Powercolor Radeon 5770 series graphics card with 1 GB RAM and running at 4.8 GHZ GDDR.

Currently, I'm connected with two monitors and both monitors have DVI connections, no HDMI. I only have one HDMI port on my video card which I prefer to use to connect to my TV. One of the two monitors is a 23 inch Dell and it's starting to annoy me because the display is becoming yellowish. No amount of calibrating the color can fix this. This 23 inch Dell is also set to portrait (verticle) mode. The other monitor is an LG I inherited set to landscape.

I don't do any gaming, just general use where many hours are spent on the computer. Contrast and whites are very important as is the ability to view in verticle mode (unless that's no longer a "thing". The monitors must have a DVI connector and I don't want to tax my video card.

I won't be upgrading to a new PC probably for a few more years, at the earliest barring anything unforeseen from happening. I suppose I can ditch the Dell if it becomes too unbearable and continues to use the LG as the main (single) monitor in landscape mode. However, I'd like to upgrade the Dell and make the new monitor a little bit more future proof. I was at Costco and I didn't see any monitors which had a DVI connection and none allowed the monitor to be positioned vertically.

Any suggestions/comments are appreciated. Thanks and be safe!

What country are you shopping in?

What's your budget?

Can you provide the specific model number of the LG monitor?

Which one of these is your GPU?

Right now I am just gathering information. I realize computer hardware is in more demand now because of the pandemic and people are working from home. I want a monitor costing less than $200 USD. I'm in Canada.

My specs of the video card were posted earlier: Powercolor Radeon 5770 series graphics card with 1 GB RAM and running at 4.8 GHZ GDDR. I'm not sure the model # of the LG Flatron, it's using Windows generic display driver.

For Canada it probably doesn't, but there is a pretty steady stream of people here who have a very limited set of products that they can buy locally and importing is difficult and/or expensive.
Ah. Yes, Right now it seems all computers and peripherals have jumped up in price. Almost as bad as alcohol, flour, and yeast.
