Monitor says no signal after installing Rx 460

I recently installed a new gpu into my PC and a power supply. When I boot the pc up it says no signal on my monitor I have it connected with a single link dvi cable.
The light on the graphics card is glowing so I am assuming that that is working. I had integrated graphics on my PC before and I uninstalled all graphics drivers before I installed the card. My PC is pretty old I got it in 2013 I think
my Motherboard is gigabyte GA-F2A55M-HD2.
my processor is Processor AMD A6-6420K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics, 4000 Mhz, 1 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s).
graphics card is integrated into my cpu and it is a AMD RADEON 8470D.
I have a evga 5002 W power supply

what happens if you reinstall the internal video driver and did you check in bios if gpu is set a first video device as pci-e one your also plug in the gpu to monitor .
