Monitor says no signal

My monitor says no signal and I am stumped as to why originally my hard drive became corrupted so I wiped it a and had to re install my os. I did this and then powered off my pc as the fan was making noise so I fixed that. After I powered my pc back on my monitors say no signal, I have replaced my cpu so that can't be the problem, thank you for any help

Motherboard gigabyte 970a ds3
Cpu amd fx8350
Ram 2x4gb ddr3 xms3

Sounds like a graphics card problem to me. The same happened to me so I returned the card as faulty. Unfortunately I couldn't find a fix to it.
