Monitor Says To Connect PCIe Cord to Graphics Card

That's what it says, but the problem is my graphics card doesn't need PCIe cords or whatever. I'm also using a DVI cord to connect from my monitor to PC, idk if that has anything to do with the problem though. There's a socket for VGA but the monitor is 8 pin and the card is, idk, more. Help please! Thanks

I'm assuming that it means the pcie power cables. did you connect any cables to your gpu after installing it did you just slot it in? If you did not plug any pcie power cables to your gpu, find the right ones (depending on your gpu), and use google to know what is the shape of the cable(or use the user manual of your psu) and plug it in


Is it saying to connect the PCIe power cable to the card?

Start at the beginning. What are you trying to do, what exactly is going on here. Are you installing a new card? System worked before now has no video? Need details with exact error messages that come up.

Also need brand and model of system parts, video card, power supply especially.
