Monitor Sceptre or any other brand? is this one recommended?

Well, i found this curved monitor at a good price, should i go for it? exact model Sceptre Curved LED Monitor C278W-1920R, i was trying to find a video gaming or something on youtube and i didnt find nothing but a short review of it, someone has used this monitor? i love the curved screens and i really wanna have this one on my pc. GPU: EVGA gtx 980ti Hybrid 6gb, display port, HDMI and DVI, what do you guys recommend?

note: i have a shitty tv 40'' tecnomaster, i use it with an adapter from DVI to VGA, and i feel like im not enjoying fully what my gpu is giving me, what low price good monitor to get?

Sceptre is generic. It's no go.

I had a Sceptre 1080p TN monitor. I loved it. It was small, light weight, and got the job done. I never used it for gaming and sadly literally a year later plus a few days more it died. Just a white screen.

Sceptre, and other cheap monitor manufacturers, use cheap panels made by other companies like samsung. Or they will buy panels from those companies that didn't pass their quality control tests. You get a cheaper panel in the end but it may not have the same features, stability, or durability.

What we can say here and I'm sure others will agree. Research the model and the company. I knew what I was purchasing at the time and I didn't fully expect it to last as long as it did. Some users are happy to find a great deal, others complain about the quality.
