Monitor showing "No Source"

Just finished building a gaming PC but i already have a problem. When the PC is booted on, only the fans and LEDs will turn on but there is no display on the monitor. the monitor just says "No Source". i don't think its the monitor either considering we tried 2 different monitors and used DVI, HDMI and, VGA cables. We even tried connecting it to an HDTV with both HDMI and VGA but nothing seemed to work. I am thinking the ports might be damaged.

What are your system specs? Also make sure your monitor is set to auto source or manually change it to the appropriate setting.

Unfortunately i do not know what specs the PC is running due to it belonging to a cousin and i just helped set it up. I will try to get the specs from him today and get back to you with that. And yes we did set both the monitors and tv to the correct sources however there was no video output 🙁 He was taking it to his engineering teacher today who builds PCs on the side for fun to see if he could figure out the problem, fingers crossed! Thank you for the response btw.
