monitor showing not matching

we changed the existing monitors with acer monitors .After connecting data cable and power on the screen some of the monitors are showing not matching.after checking the cpus with windows software monitors are working good.the cpus with solaris software are showing "not matching".Please help me whether i go for another maintor or any settings may be changed

What exactly is "showing not matching" mean? They are detected as a different model in the computer? Need some details.
