I've had my gtx 970 graphics card since December 26th 2015, and it seemed to not have any problems, but lately when I try to play games that are more graphically demanding than what I usually play, the monitor shuts off after about 30 minutes of playing, but the computer stays on, and the only way to turn the monitor back on, is to completely shut off the computer.
My specs are:
-Graphics Card: ASUS gtx 970 STRIX
-Processor: Intel Core i5-4690K
-Motherboard: MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition LGA 1150
-PSU: Antec HCG-750M 750W
-HDD: WD Blue 1TB
-SDD: SAMSUNG 850 EVO M.2 250GB SATA III
-RAM: 16 GB
-CPU Cooler: H80i v2

Solution
Your monitor isn't shutting off, your computer is crashing!

Try clean installing the drivers, that usually fixes things. If that doesn't work, try using just the integrated graphics. If that does work, it's either the GPU or PSU.

Thanks for the reply! I will try those tomorrow morning, but im pretty sure the monitors are going to sleep, because I was in the middle of playing a game with a friend, and when the monitors went play, he said that I was still in the game standing still, I only disconnected from the game once I forced the computer to shut off. I also keep my computer on a carpeted floor, and the psu is bottom mounted, so could dust be an issue?
