Monitor suddenly started flickering

Hi there,

Yesterday I was on my pc using a BenQ ZOWIE XL2720 27" monitor when suddenly a horizontal white line appeared about 40% of the way down the screen. The entire area below started shaking and flickering. This problem still exists when the monitor is disconnected from the pc so must be an issue with the screen itself. Can anyone help me with this issue?

I took a video as well if it helps. At this point the flickering was on and off but now it constant.

Do you have another monitor to swap in and try. If its fine on another monitor then you need to warranty or replace this one.
