Question Monitor suggestion for RTX 3080 and PS5 ?

Hi all,

I would like to ask for your help. I am having a gaming pc and PS5 as well. So I decided to connect my PS5 to my monitor as well. It works fine but sometimes feel not so smooth/laggy when I am gaming on it. Even that PS5 already supports 1440p. So I am thinking to update my monitor.
Either to 27/28" 4k 144hz or to 32" 1440p or 32" 4k monitor.

I play a lot of competitive games on pc as well so most probably the 4k is not the best choice and also I am afraid that my pc is not going to handle well the 4k when it is about gaming.
But I will listen about your experience.
At this moment my monitor is an Acer XB273UGS.

My config:
Cpu + Cooler: I7 10700k + Noctua NH-D15
Vga: Msi Rtx 3080 Gaming Z Trio
Motherboard: Msi Z490 Unify
Ram: 2x16gb 3200mhz Hyperx Fury
Case: Be Quiet Pure Base 500dx

1. Any suggestion for monitor what handle my pc and ps5 as well?
2. Do you think 1440p is bad picture quality on 32" and on 27/28" bad picture quality with 4k resolution?
3. Should I stick with my current monitor?

A 4k HDMI 2.1 monitor.

The ps5 doesn't support 1440p so it's a no go. 32 inch is too big for 1440p in my opinion.

Should I stick with my current monitor?

Are happy with it?

Thanks for your reply. So far I know the PS5 has gotten the support already for the 1440p.
I am strongly thinking about to get the 32" 4k monitor. Only my concern is that if the 3080 is going to handle well the 4k with I7 10700k Cpu and also I play a lot of competitive games as well.
