Question Monitor turns off and games close/freeze.

When I reconnect the HDMI cable, the monitor turns back on but my programs close and the mouse does not display on any windows except for the taskbar. I have updated ALL drivers so I have zero clue about what the issue is

could you use a dvi cable from pc to monitor .

24GB mixing ram? test without mixing ram?
