[SOLVED] Monitor turns weird when going into windows 11

When I start my PC and the Aorus screen comes up the display is fine, even going into the bios the screen is fine. But the very moment It goes into windows as you can see from the images below that's what happens. Turning the screen off and on multiple times does fix it untill I turn off my PC, then the problem still comes back. Any help would be much appreciated as it's driving me mad. My specs are listed in my bio.

I'm unsure if it's something to do with windows 11 or possibly my GPU drivers.

Looks like the drivers or GPU itself.

do those images show if you take a screenshot?
if they do, it shows its being rendered by GPU and not just on the monitor

Do they show in safe mode?

1. go to settings/recovery
   
2. Next to advanced startup, click restart now button
   
3. this restarts PC in a blue menu
   
4. choose troubleshoot
   
5. choose advanced
   
6. choose startup options
   
7. click the restart button
   
8. choose a safe mode (it doesn't matter which) by using number associated with it.
   
9. Pc will restart and load safe mode
   

If its just the GPU running in the drivers, it won't show here.

safe mode puts less stress on GPU than normal mode does.

I would be tempted to try using GPU in another PC and see if you get same thing.

What monitor model you have? What type of cable used to connect to GPU? What refresh rate you have set in Windows? Does the problem persists at different refresh rate?
