I am planning to upgrade some PC components. I am deciding between a 120 hrz monitor or astro a50s what should I get?

Solution
Well the monitor I can speak of, the headset I cannot. However, the Astro A Series are pretty good headsets.

The monitor is a great improvement from what you have already. You will see the smoothness of the mouse from 60hz to 120hz, I dont care what anyone says about not visually seeing the difference. I cant tell the difference between 120hz to 144hz but I can with 60hz to 120hz. You will tell by your first mouse movements..Personally, having 2 XL2420TEs and 1 XL2420T.. it was a HUGE jump from the 21 inch LG Flatron I had. The crystal clear quality, with the richness in colors.. only thing about this I must say, the default colors need a bit of tweaking but after that you are golden!

I believe purchasing either of these is a great...

I believe purchasing either of these is a great subsititute for what you have. I just searched ebay for these 2 items.. and you can easily get a good deal on a brand new one and will be cheaper than from amazon or newegg. I bought my GTX 780 3GB on ebay for $415 (+ shipping). Its a big discount than newegg and amazon imo.

Good luck in your decision!
