I'm replacing my monitor in the next month or two, but am having some trouble picking what to replace it with.
My budget will be around $400, and I've seen some nice monitors in that price range. However, I've also heard that many people like to use televisions for gaming, and was wondering if there were any good deals to be found on that end.
I'm pretty sure my GPU (R9 270) can't handle fancy stuff like 4K resolutions or 144hz refresh (I often waffle between 50 and 80 FPS in BF4 running at 1680x1050), so those features are right out the door, but my mind's open to other bells and whistles, if they don't drive the price up too much.
Any help is most appreciated!
