So I came home from work yesterday and I had my monitors in standby. I sat down and woke them up and they showed my desktop, then the screens just went black. I checked the video card to see if it was seated correctly, checked the cable connections (both are DVI connections that allow the monitors to run at 120Hz) and all was secure. I tried just using a single monitor, nothing so then I tried an old monitor I haven't used in a year or so, and still nothing. I take it down to a PC repair place in town, and they hook up to one of their monitors, and BAM it boots up with no issues.
It's weird because the monitors also have component and HDMI inputs, I don't have anything in that room to use HDMI with, but I did order some cables to check the issue, plus it's about time to have some more flexibility. Anyways the component input DOES work (via Xbox 360) So I am trying to figure out what exactly would be the issue since it doesn't seem to be my Video card since it worked at the shop, but it seems strange that 2 monitors would stop working at the EXACT same time. plus my old monitor wouldn't work either.
I have an Nvidia GTX 670 with 2 Asus VG236h monitors (again both via DVI) Another thing that is weird is that I don't get any signal during the POST either, so it's not just a windows driver. (I think)
Any help would be aweomse!
