Monitor wont display anything

Last night the PC Froze
Wont response to anything
Neither Pressing restart button nor Shutdown works (Not even Holding the button for 5 secs to shutdown)
So decided to Unplug the power cable
Then when I turned it on again, nothing would show up on the screen
And a red light near the ram

Specs are
GPU: Amd 6770 1GB Powercolor edition
CPU: Fx 8320
Mobo: Asus M5A97 2.0
PSU: Cooler Master 500W
Ram: 4 GB

I reset the CMSO didn't work
Now I was told to reset the bios, but no clue how...

cmos and bios are the same thing. I would suspect the PSU. Do you have a another to try?

I don't know I told the guy I asked that I did CMOS and he told me to try and take out the battery and to do so I had to remove the GPU which is above it
Anyway I had to use a rubber and rub the ram's tips with it ( dunno why, would be good if u explained lol)
Anyway he told me to return everything to it's place after an hour except the GPU and then he would tell me what to do

The rubber cleans the gold fingers of the ram chip removing any oxidation if there is any. You can do it on the graphics card as well.

Ok so whatever he wanted to try there didn't work
I reseted the bios and nothing happend
Took out the battery and nothing happened
Maybe its a lack of electricity feeding iguess
Or electricity leakage?
