Monitor wont turn on

Hello,
My monitor wont turn on when the computer is turned on, I have switched monitors and it doesnt make any difference, i have also pulled the graphics card out, and when i put it back in everything works..but then after a day or so it does the same thing. Is this a graphics card or motherboard problem

Could be either one of those. Start with replacing the video card though, or at least test it in another computer for a while.
