[SOLVED] Monitors and all peripherals turn off, fans are still spinning

So i got this issue again 2 times in the past, the first one was around 3 months ago the 2nd around a month ago and i just got it again. The PC just "shuts down" out of nowhere, the monitors turn black, all the rgb peripherals i have turn off, but the fans keep spinning. Holding down the power button in order to do a force shutdown didn't do anything, i had to turn off the psu in order to power off the system, what could be the cause of this?

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
PSU: Corsair CX550M
RAM: 16GB GSKILL Ripjaws V
GPU: RX 560

Running windows 10

sounds like a power issue to me. its either the PSU or the motherboard. the easiest way to test is to swap, do you have access to another PSU for testing?

well the issue doesn't happen that frequently so it would be a hit or miss testing with a different PSU but i will be upgrading my cpu/motherboard soon anyways so if that doesn't fix it then i know its the PSU
