Monitors blinking and lines on screen.

My first post here so let me know if I've done anything wrong. Recently my monitors have been randomly blinking every once in a while. They just disconnect from the PC and then come back. My main monitor has also been showing bright green, flashing lines every once in a while but only on the right side of the screen. Once it starts its fairly consistent. I haven't noticed anything that causes it yet. It seems to happen more when I go full screen with things but that might just be because its more noticeable. It also tends to happen more frequently when I'm playing games. I've monitored the temps and my GPU tends to be around 60 when it starts. I've also uninstalled all my drivers and installed the latest ones. The monitors are using two different Display cable brands so I dont think its that. Another thing to note is that the first monitor often blinks on its own. Only sometimes does the second monitor blink at the same time.

GPU: Gtx 1080
CPU: I7 6700k
Mobo: MSI Z170A
PSU: 750w corsair

Green lines often means artifacts, i.e. fried GPU. Have you overclocked the GPU? Try running both monitors from the integrated graphics for a while, to see if it's the monitor. To me, sounds like a defective GPU. Not much you can do about that.

I tried a little bit of overclocking a while ago but decided it wasn't really worth it. I never felt any negative effects at the time. Could it have taken a few moths to start showing the issues it caused? As I'm writing this i'm getting noise through my headphones. Havent had this issue before.
