My display quit working last week. It's an onboard AMD Radeon HD 7700 that quit working. All I got on the display is the monitor checking for a graphics card and finding none. So I bought another card... a PCI this time and installed it tonight. The computer still isn't recognizing any graphics card. I get nothing on the monitor other than the Search window for a graphics source from the computer. After the second attempt it shuts down the monitor to sleep mode. The new card is a Sapphire Toxic AMD R9 270X. I've reset CMOS, tried all connection options and still can't get the computer to send the signal to the monitor. I've also tried different monitors. I'm running out of patience/ideas!

I have an ASRock FM2A 75M-DGS motherboard, 16 gb DDR3 RAM, quad core, Windows 8, 1 tb 00 drive, 1 tb 01 drive, AMD A75 FCH (Hudson-D3) Chipset

Any ideas???

Thanks in advance!
