I hear you! The wood accents do look nice in person, but I feel like it isn't enough to deserve the "wood" moniker!

tbf to montech, they provide nice stuffs at a budget cost, the size and the GPU compatability, nice built and kinda good look is great, just that when the name states wood, I kind of try looking for something in my Fractal North, and it's so tiny that on a phone it is difficult to spot at first

If you think about it, thin wood veneer on metal is even less "wood" than the usual wood veneer on cheap particle board furniture is. It's like just one layer from plywood.

And I've seen more wood veneer than that on phone cases.

That looks like a nice case, but I do have a bit of a backlog and Tom's Hardware can only publish so many reviews at a time. I have EIGHT untested cases in que right now, but once I've got half of those completed I'll see if I can arrange for this to happen. No promises though, I've never dealt with Antec before. But I'll see what I can do, OK?

Would have made more sense to just put the fake wood strips down the sides, then at least it feels more like an accent rather than a cheap marketing gimmick. The letter etching in the wood also spoils the look. Not sure who this appeals to as is.
