this has 2x as much ram per core and diff gpu/ram speeds, the maybe be more im missing offhand...
 
Galaxy is releasing this card for Macs. You know, latest and greatest technology for OSX!!! *Wink*

Seriously, I would not doubt it. Galaxy can get $$$$ from all the Macs with the single GTS 250.
 
With smaller less power hungry cards..that perform near or better in the same price range.. assuming it will sell in the mid range market.. I can't see this card selling main stream.
If your gong to build a card that takes up 3 slots.. why not create some freakish monster... like a 5970x6 12gb or something.
 
I kinda like the "I draw power from the other PCIe for the fans" idea. Puts the second slot to some kind of use, lol.

Other than that, unless is a dirt cheap card ($250-ish), it won't be more than the GTS240 fail-launch.
