There's some conflicting information on Dell's website as
to whether the BIOS should be upgraded before installing
Windows XP SP2. I don't have the most up to date BIOS
installed on my Dell, and didn't update the BIOS before
installing SP2. I didn't have any problems installing
SP2, and haven't had any problems since installing (and
that was almost a month ago).
