More help with building my pc

So, I've decided to build around a 1440p 165hz gaming monitor to play the newest AAA games in mid-high settings. From what I understand, I'll need a constant +165 fps to capitalize on that. Aside from that of course, I want to save as much as possible. Would I need a GTX 1070 or 1080 for graphics? Would an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 be enough processing power? Also, is my current power supply of 500w going to be enough for all of that? Thank you in advance.

edit: I should also mention I already have 16GB of DDR4 RAM on hand.

Ryzen 1600 should be fine with 1080 for most games reaching your standard 500 W is stretching, 600W is safer.

yes, I mean 1440p, 1600 will be minimum and should be fine. safer is 1600X but you need good cooler. I will go with 1600

You can see ultra setting could even go to 100FPS easily, and CPU is never 100%. I think 1600 is good enough.
