[citation][nom]Godfail[/nom]Smart? Try inevitable - this happens to just about every console out there towards the last couple of years of its lifespan. As for other Microsoft divisions, Hyper-V is no joke for only having been out for less than 3 years. OCS is shaping up to be the next big product, I'd expect a lot of work going into the UC/UM division.[/citation]
You're joking, right? Hyper-V is pathetic when compared to the heavy virtualiztion players. When I say heavy, I don't mean chintzy x86 stuff. I mean HP's Integrity Virtual Machines running HP-UX, and IBM's VIO for AIX. Plus all Hyper-V is compatible with is other Microsoft OS's (and one or two outdated Linux distros). At least VMware makes an effort to officially support nearly all current x86 and x64 operating systems like FreeBSD, OSX Server, MSDOS, Netware, and Solaris x86.
