more problems

Windows 98se OS. Started with desktop icon problem previously posted. Now when I start-up/reboot system asks me how I want to boot i.e.; normal, selective, etc. Any suggestions. Thinking of having exorcism preformed.

Are you shutting it down and letting it boot up properly? (w/o turning the computer off or restarting it during those times)

You might try checking the MSDOS.SYS file for a BOOTMULTI=1 entry.
If this statement is there, change it to BOOTMULTI=0
Be sure to set it's attributes back to READ-ONLY and HIDDEN.
