I have a ryzen 5 2400g iGpu.
I'm curious whats gonna boost my performance the best.
System now:
R5 2400g
No gpu
1×8 gb ram 2400 mhz

I'll be able to run dual channel if i buy one more 1×8gb ram stick..
Or im getting a r9 270x or gtx 1050.

What are your recommendations?
Thanks in advance.

( I am on a pretty low budget btw )

Solution
I would not buy the R9 270X or GTX 1050. neither is much faster than your integrated graphics. Save your money and get a GTX 1050ti at a minimum. I'd get at least a GTX 1060 3gb personally or RX 470.
Boosting performance for which purpose please? For Gaming I agree that a dedicated GPU might be the better choice.
You might also think to sell the 1x8GB stick and by 2x4GB instead plus the GPU, if budget allows.

idk about WHICH gpu to get, but I know that you definitely should get a GPU over more RAM. 8GB is enough for your build.

In what way is your pc lacking in performance?

ryzen depends on fast graphics for performance, particularly for the graphics.
You are running now in single channel mode which is not best.

But, do not think you can simply add another 8gb stick.
Ram is sold in kits for a reason.
A motherboard must manage all the ram using the same specs of voltage, cas and speed.
The internal workings are designed for the capacity of the kit.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.
Some motherboards, can be very sensitive to this.
This is more difficult when more sticks are involved.
That is why ram vendors will NOT support ram that is not bought in one kit.

If you do buy more disparate sticks, they must be the same speed, voltage and cas numbers.
Even then your chances of working are less than 100%

What is your plan "B" if the new stick/s do not work?

If you want 16gb, my suggestion is to buy a 2 x 8gb kit that matches your current specs.
Sell the old ram or keep it as a spare.

Before you look at ram, verify that the proposed ram is compatible.
Not all DDR4 ram is compatible with ryzen.
Check the ram QVL list for your motherboard and pick the fastest that is supported.
Or, go to a ram vendor web site and enter your motherboard info.
You will get a list of supported kits.

If you upgrade graphics, make it a good jump over the integrated graphics.
At least three tiers on tom's gpu hierarchy list:
https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html

AMD compares it to the GT1030.
Something like a GTX1050ti or R9-280 would be appropriate.
Anything less and you may be disappointed if you do not see good results.
