I have 16GBs of DDR4 2666MHz RAM my board has 2 more slots from 4 and supports up to 64GB of 3200MHz RAM. My question is it better to get 16GBs or maybe even more of the same RAM (also can a single RAM be higher than 8GB if the already installed ones are 8 each?) Or is it better to get 16GBs 3200MHz one instead of the 2666MHz ones?

Word of caution here, always buy ram in kits of 2 (or 4) matched sticks whenever possible to guarantee the widest, problem-free compatibility, with each other & with the mobo, and best performance...... you can always sell the old stick(s) to get back some of the $$ for the upgrade

As sizzling stated above, unless your board is specifically rated to use 4 sticks (not many), it's best to stay with 2 to ensure the best performance.

And if your board supports 3200, by all means get that speed...

And how can I tell if my board is rated to work with 4 sticks?

Regarding you're questioning if the change or ram between 16Gb or 32Gb will not bring a lot of "speed" capabilities if you're not pushing past 16GB utilization (most people do not)
maybe you should consider upgrading your CPU instead of an actual performance upgrade in speed processing I looked at the specs from Asus website

And you could easily upgrade that Ryzen 5 35600x with a Ryzen 7 or even Ryzen 9 and keep you going for a few more years, where upgrading your ram isn't going to.

Somebody on this site said to me something like hes not recommending higher than 65W CPUs with this board cause it might struggle with the heat or something like that. Do you think it would be fine with a Ryzen 7 5800X or similar?

Tho I just chacked and the 5 3600X isalready a 95W one
If Im not mistaking and it seems to be fine but Im not sure how good the cooling is and if it would be enought or not

Maybe e-mail ASUS support, if you buy it from Amazon there are good returns policy so if the temps are too hot then you can return it.
Well, I have noticed no problems with my R5 3600X and for now its good enough. Im not sure what would happen with an R7 but Im good for now with this. Thanks for the help I appreciate it!

open the case and take picture of the system, post it here, and we can figure out what you have.
I believe, if the Manufacturer states it can handle an R7 or R9, with a proper heatsink/cooler fan it will be fine. as long as your power supply is sufficient.
but maybe I am just one to trust the manufacturer actually tested their systems with the new bios and CPU.
