Try turning the graphics down on the games. The higher the graphics settings, the more GPU RAM is uses. The Nvidia GeForce 840M isn't a very good video card in terms of performance to begin with. MOST of them have dedicated memory so I wouldn't think it would be an issue with your system RAM but I would recommend running memtest or a similar program to test your system memory if turning the graphics settings in the games down doesn't help.

Interesting. It definitely sounds like you have a deeper issue then possibly. Have you tried reinstalling or updating the video drivers? It's possible that the drivers may have gotten corrupted somehow. You can download Driver Sweeper (I've used it myself) to completely get rid of any existing video drivers before installing the new drivers. I would recommend downloading the new drivers from the Lenovo website before using Driver Sweeper to save yourself a little time.

If reinstalling the drivers does not correct the problem then you may have issues with the video card itself which will require having the laptop serviced.

Your original post said it's an Nvidia GPU, not intel so now I'm confused. Either way, it sounds like the GPU may be overheating or isn't functioning properly when you try to play a game.

sorry if you are confuse

let me edit my previous message to like this:

i have tried uninstall nvidia and intel from "device manager > display adapters" and reinstall it but it didn't solve the problem and i tried disabling intel display adapter from device manager and i tried to run GTAV and nfs:rivals of cuz is very lag but at least it has display

Sorry i didn't know if intel i5-4210U is considered a gpu or not

so is it intel's problem?
