So I was using a data recovery tool "TestDisk" and I think I did something wrong, I used option for not being able to find a drive or something
But anyway ever since that 2 days ago when I restart my PC, over half the time my D drive in disk management just states "new volume" and I assign D for it
Why does this happen and can I make it stick to D instead of reverting to just new volume most of the time after I turn the PC off?
