What is the most reliable ssd for a system that will only be used for the internet and watching youtube videos that is under $100. I have heard intel makes one of the most reliable ssd's but I really am not sure 😛
^don't waste your money if you're not in a vulnerable situation. If you get your power from raised lines, go for it, but don't bother if you live in a city and get your power underground. You definitely need a backup drive, though.

Or if u live in the apartment and u have on 1 line(usually one side of the wall) fridge, heater, maybe plug-in AC, thread mill or a vacuum cleaner or anything else that draw lots of power, that makes electricity spikes up and down, those are the times when u don't have enough power and than immediately it gets overloaded for the brief second and it happens often, that's when your PC parts that are sensitive to the electricity go down.
After while. After the warranty.
Than people blame the company that made the part.... But it starts at home.
One great thing how to fight it, is also quality PSU that have already some over voltage protection and some mobos that have the over voltage protection too.
I know that ASUS have it, maybe most mobos have it.
But good surge protection will get u further from the disaster.
Why to be cheap, when people have the system for $1000 bucks but get no over voltage surge protector for $20 or $100?
Sounds reasonable.
ON A RELATED NOTE:
Do you know why the lights dim and then brighten when you turn on something powerful (e.g. vacuum, circular saw)? I haven't actually covered circuits in physics yet, but my friend, who has, can't figure it out either.
It's a good choice for a budget SSD. It doesn't really answer your original request, for the "most reliable" drive, but it may still be the right one for you.
Ok OCZ Petrol vs this corsair Force 3 120gb that's on sale: http://www.frys.com/product/6659624?site=sa:adpages%20page:sun_p11
Any of these u will get, will knock your socks off over regular HDD : ))
No more busy circles : ))
I still run on old and trusty Vertex 2 and it is a speed daemon. It frees the system as well, because it does not have to spend the time to look for the pieces.
Things are done almost immediately. Open office in 1 second or so. Anything is super fast.
