I'm getting a message from PC part picker about the motherboard I'm upgrading to and the power supply. How big of an issue is this. I dont plan on overclocking the cpu and the GPU is a 1060 6 gb

Note:The MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard has an additional 4-pin ATX power connector but the BitFenix Formula Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply does not. This connector is used to supply additional 12V current to the motherboard. While the system will likely still run without it, higher current demands such as extreme overclocking or large video card current draws may require it.

Meaning that your motherboard has an extra CPU pin to give it abit more extra power and your PSU dose not have an extra 4 pin cable. So you will be just fine in powering up the motherboard with 8 pin! Here picture you see at the top of the motherboard there 8 pin then 4 pin that what its talking about!
