Hello I have the following specs

MSI b450 gaming pro carbon ac
Ryzen 5 2600
Rx 580
Seasonic focus plus 550 platinum

When I hook up the whole system I was stuck with the PSU / motherboard connectors. My PSU has 4+4 pin connector for CPU but my motherboard has 8+4.What can I do in these cases? My motherboard manual doesn't mention anything and I can't find a solution? Can anyone solve my issue? Also I intend to OC the cpu and ram if that info is needed.

i had the same issue on my asrock Taichi mobo, the 4 pin socket next to the 8 pin, labeled in the manual as ATX12V1 and ATX12V2
i called into Asrock tech support and basically they said the same thing, that 4 pin auxillary socket is just for folks who want to feed extra current for OCing but shouldn't be necessary for me, even though i'm running a 9900k
