motherboard and gpu advice.

Hello everyone. I'll get straight to the point. My current rig has a sapphire 7870 and aASRock H61M/U3S3 (B3), Sockel 1155, mATX motherboard. I'm about to order a evga gtx 970. What I need to know is, will the new card be compatible with my current motherboard. Will I be able to do a straight swap? Any help greatly appreciated.

I would recommend an Atx Motherboard. The Gtx 980 is Big Boy Toy. It needs a Big Boy board. And a good motherboard also.

Thanks for reply, it's a 970 not a 980 although they most likely need the same sort of board. So would my current board not work with the 970 at all? I havent really budgeted in the cost of a new board. Could you recommend a suitable board with maybe a link if it's not too much trouble. Sorry about all the questions I'm kinda new to all this, but really enjoying it. Thanks.
