Hello, I ordered a set of gskill ram
(G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR)
to upgrade my rig, but after installing them I get a 'no signal' output from the monitor. I tried each stick individually and also get the same error. Is it a compatibility issue with the motherboard or something else? Please help.
The motherboard:
ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3 AMD 785G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

any feedback is well appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Under the motherboard page for your motherboard, this kit is not on the approved list for ram modules. Always check this list prior to buying ram.

So the computer will not post correct? If you can not get into BIOS, better get some different ram.
Also unless you are using a Bulldozer CPU, all Phenom II and Athlon CPU default at DDR3 1333 Mhz speeds.
