[SOLVED] Motherboard "B460M DS3H V2 (rev. 1.0)" Not detecting M.2!!!!!

Hello,

I have this motherboard

and this m.2

but the motherboard doesn't detect it at all

any Ideas why would that be

The difference is the language they talk.
Your looking for a m.2 ssd that says pcie not sata.
Look at your link for the ssd the description says sata.

Your M.2 socket will take PCIe (also most people call them NVMe) SSD's. Often you will see description mentions the 'Key' of the device which is a little gap in the connector. PCIe (NVMe) SSDs normally are only 'M' Key.

PCIe (NVMe) SSDs are also alot faster than the SATA SSDs.

For your particular motherboard you want a PCIe 3.0 x 4, NVMe SSD. It should have only one small gap at the connector end of it.
