Motherboard Beep Code

So I recently bought a used emachines computer from a friend. When I got it the hard drive was dying so I grabbed the hard drive from an old computer I had and installed it. After installing it I also installed some more ram. Now whenever it boots it gives one short beep but continues to boot like normal and still functions like normal. Any idea what is causing the beeping?

One short beep normally means a successful POST.
Nothing to worry about.

Okay. I was just making sure as it didn't beep before I put the ram and hard drive in.
