Motherboard Bios Screen looks like Checkers

I just built my new Pc and when I boot up the bios its all black screen but when I move the mouse around it kind of clears it up and it looks like checkers squares. I can't click on anything either. I don't have an OS yet either, does anyone know what could be wrong? Any help is appreciated.
It's an Asus Motherboard

You may have a damaged motherboard
I'd contact Asus and ask for a replacement
