hi everyone. i bought an ASUS H170P D3 motherboard 16 months ago with an i3 6100 processor. my memories didn't work properly before i upgraded my MB's bios version to 2002 a long time ago.
right now i'm planning to upgrade to an i5 6500 or i5 6600. some people say bios upgrade may cause additonal issues but it has worked well so far for me. do i need to worry about upgrading my cpu to an i5 6500? is it possible that my new cpu gets damaged in the future?
please respond accordingly. these processors are pretty expensive in my country !
